If you have been shopping with us for a while you will already be familiar with our hugely popular 'Little & Often' Day Heel court shoe. Featuring a very wearable 2.5cm block heel detail made in response to our wonder women customers request for a slightly higher heel option. The topline on this silhouette has been drawn from our previous best selling style - the 'Wonderglove' shoe - finished in a square set, and slightly shorter vamp depth to reveal just the right amount of toe. The look is 60s inspired polish with a twist of modern magic.
When we were picking this palette we were thinking alot about what the perfect pop colour is to add life to winter outfits. A colour that is both wearable and joyful, but bold enough in it's pitch to make it a statement piece. Red has always been a RY favourite, and we love how this pitch of Cherry - with a slight bluish base - does that trick of being super bright for weekend goodtimes, but remains sophisticated enough to wear to work. This is a high quality vegan 'PU' leather which means it will hold it's colour for years to come and be a very weather-friendly upper.
To keep the colour conviction to maximum levels, and also for the 'touch' benefit on the foot, we have used matching cherry red satin lining on the inner. Somebody say LUXE. Finished with our removable polkadot athletic innersole and super bouncy plant rubber outsole in gum to ensure maximum running-for-the-tram mobility.
We see both workwear and weekends done well in this look. For weekday chic, make the mood all French with a fitted stripe knits and pin tucked culottes as seen on gorgeous Gemma here. For Saturday strolls through the gallery, try an empire line dress below the knees and finish it with a manstyle trench for contrast. Palettes of cognac and mustard bounce beautifully of this red, so we often do a juxtaposition of a casual anorak and denims for weekend easy casual-sharpness (yes there is such a thing ;>). Also great for high winter with contrast black tights peaking out under a-lined skirts. The best thing is the heel is so low you can still run for the tram in them and maintain your fashion dignity.

Yes. This material will have around 5 - 8% stretch on wearing depending on the amount of pressure applied to the upper.
PU is a highly durable material that is ideally suited to long wearing shoes. For optimum care, we recommend and sell "Waproo Waterproofer" to protect your toe tappers from unexpected showers. We recommend spraying monthly on the Full Moon and can send you a reminder if you sign up to our newsletter here.
Polish your PU shoes around once a month and clean when necessary with a leather conditioner and soft rag to remove any dirt accumulated on your travels.
For extra special treatment, polishing can help renew shoes that have developed scratches or other signs of regular wear. Wax and cream polishes available from a local shoe repairer will breath new life into your beloved toe tappers. Once your newly polished shoes have dried you can re-apply a waterproof spray for extra protection.
