Work, Life & Wonder Women // Part III in our 'Wear For Success' Series

To complete our RADICAL VISION project, built to help raise funds with Not-For-Profit 'Wear For Success' we took time out on set for the look book campaign and interviewed each of our wonder women models about their working lives and go-to inspirations.

For our final week in the series we meet two talented and amazingly hard working mama's, artist Maria Flores aka Say Hola, and Yoga Teacher Victoria English.

Eyewear portraits shot by Yes! Journal Chief Photographer Breeana Dunbar with make up by the wonderful  Livia Milazzo

MARIA FLORES – ARTIST / PRINT MAKER
"Stop. Find Clarity. Make a choice."

My work life is…
On shuffle...and I love it.  Every day I'm creating something different to keep it fresh and I get to hang out with my little chicas to keep it real.

When I find myself in a challenging situation and I need to change my outlook I …

JUST STOP. FIND CLARITY. MAKE A CHOICE. OWN IT. MOVE FORWARD. Repeat step 2 if needed.

My go-to outfit when I need to ‘wear for success’ is…

My fave blue dress that has the perfect combo of practicality and personality, paired with the comfiest pair of rose gold Radical Yes! toe tappers of course.

Maria wears Radical Yes 'Joy' sunglasses in Shiny navy.

VICTORIA ENGLISH – YOGA TEACHER
"Be in harmony with the wholeness of
things..."

My work life is …currently about doing what I know with a lot of joy and learning about new things with some anxiety and quiet excitement.

When I find myself in a challenging situation…I think of a quote by Zen Master Dogen

'To be in harmony with the wholeness of things is not to have anxiety over imperfections'

My go-to outfit when I need to ‘wear for success’ is…my new black linen dress - I made it myself - teamed with my Radical Yes Pom Pom shoes in Camel.

Victoria wears Radical Yes 'Joy' sunglasses in Crystal Pink.
